Q1: Should I pre-wash my fabric before stitching?
Yes, dear! Embroidery thread stays put, but natural fabrics like cotton and linen do shrink. Pre-washing ensures the fabric does not pull at your stitches after the project is complete.
Q2: Can I change the size of the design?
Pro Tip: We recommend not resizing by more than 10%. Altering the size significantly can change the stitch density and impact the final quality of the pattern.
Q3: Which file formats are provided with my purchase?
Your Butterflies and Flowers Quilting download includes a ZIP file containing DST, PES, JEF, HUS, VP3, EXP, XXX, ART, and more to ensure compatibility with your machine.
Q4: How should I iron the finished embroidery?
Quick Note: You can iron your project, but always do it from the reverse side. Use a pressing cloth to protect the threads from direct high heat.
Q5: Where do I find my files after I pay?
They are available in your account immediately. Simply log in and select My Downloads from the menu to grab your Butterflies and Flowers Quilting files.
