Q1: What stabilizer do you recommend for this design?
Since this is a light density design, a light tear-away stabilizer works well on stable woven fabrics. If you are stitching it onto knits or sweatshirts, I recommend using a soft cut-away stabilizer to prevent puckering.
Q2: How many color changes will I need to manage during stitch-out?
There are 10 colors and 14 color changes in this design. I suggest printing the included Madeira Rayon color chart and keeping it next to your machine to make thread swaps quick and easy.
Q3: Will the Happy Fall Scarecrow fit my 5"x7" hoop?
Yes, the smallest of the 7 sizes is 4.1 by 5.8 inches, which fits comfortably inside a 5"x7" hoop. We also include six larger sizes for your bigger hoops up to 12"x12" in the download.
