Light density means the stitches are spaced out. This gives Lion Wearing A Lampshade a soft, sketch-like appearance and keeps the fabric flexible, allowing the base material to show through the thread.
Q2: How should I stabilize my fabric?
Use a medium-weight cut-away stabilizer to support the stitches on most stable woven fabrics. If you choose a stretchy material, always use cut-away to prevent puckering or distortion while the machine runs.
