Smiling Potato works best on stable materials like quilting cotton, linen, or denim. Ensure your fabric is smooth for the clearest stitch definition.
Q2: Is it possible to change the thread colors during the process?
Yes, dear! The color chart provided is only a suggestion. Your machine will pause at each stop, allowing you to swap threads to better match your specific project colors.
Q3: How can I download the full collection of sizes and formats?
Pro Tip: Navigate to the product page for this design and click the blue DOWNLOAD HERE button. This pulls the entire ZIP file containing all available formats and sizes directly to your device.
Q4: What is the difference between a trim and a stop?
Trims refer to the number of times your machine automatically clips the thread between sections, while stops represent the number of times the machine pauses for you to change your thread color.

Quick Note: You can locate the color chart in three places: inside the downloaded ZIP file as a PDF, within your account downloads page by selecting PDF from the format dropdown, or listed directly on the main product description page.
