Q1: Do I really need to pre-wash my fabric?
Yes, absolutely! While the thread won't shrink, natural fabrics like cotton will. Pre-washing ensures your fabric doesn't bunch up around the Wizard Cat Line Art design after the first wash.
Q2: Can I use different thread colors than what's suggested?
Pro Tip: Definitely! The provided color chart is just a suggestion. Since this is a single-color design, your machine will stitch the entire pattern continuously, but you can choose any color thread you like to match your project.
Q3: What embroidery file formats are included with my purchase?
Every download is a ZIP file packed with all the major formats for home machines, including DST, PES, JEF, HUS, VP3, and EXP, so you're ready to go.
Q4: How can I download all the sizes and formats at once?
Quick Note: The easiest way is to go to the Wizard Cat Line Art product page after you've bought it. Just click the big blue "DOWNLOAD HERE" button to get the complete ZIP file with everything inside.
Q5: What's the difference between "Trims" and "Stops" on the design info?
Great question! "Trims" are the number of times your machine will automatically cut the thread between sections. "Stops" are the pauses programmed for you to manually change thread colors. For this pattern, you'll have trims but only one stop, as it's a single-color design.
