Q1: Should I pre-wash my fabric before embroidering?
Yes, dear! Pre-washing is important. While embroidery thread itself doesn't shrink, natural fabrics like cotton and linen do. Pre-washing makes sure your fabric won't pull and distort the stitches after you've finished your project.
Q2: How do I get the file onto my embroidery machine?
You'll download a ZIP folder. Save it to your computer, then 'unzip' or extract the files. After that, simply copy the specific file format your machine needs onto a USB stick and transfer it to your machine.
Q3: How should I wash my embroidered items?
Wash your embroidered items gently in cool or cold water using a mild detergent. To keep your stitches looking fresh, it's best to air dry them or use a very low setting on your tumble dryer.
Q4: How can I avoid buying the same design twice?
