Q1: What needle should I use?
Usually, a 75/11 or 80/12 universal embroidery needle is perfect. For delicate fabrics, use a smaller needle. If you're working with metallic threads, a specialized 80/12 or 90/14 metallic needle will help prevent thread breaks.
Q2: What stabilizer should I use?
For most stable fabrics, a medium-weight cut-away or tear-away works best. Cut-away is ideal for stretchy fabrics or high-detail designs, while tear-away is great for stable wovens like towels or denim. Use a water-soluble topping on fuzzy fabrics like fleece.
Q3: Can I resize the designs?
We recommend not resizing this design by more than 10%. Altering the size significantly can change the stitch density and ruin the final quality of the HELLO AUTUMN Mushroom ITH Applique Coaster.
Q4: Can I iron the embroidery?
